How to bath your cat.
Does your cat smell bad? Although most cats keep themselves clean, occasionally they can get really dirty, for example when it gets into some harmful liquids. On such occasions, it is a good idea to bath your cat. Everyone knows that cats don’t like to get wet, so before you start the process you should play with it and calm it down. Be sure you’ve got liquid soap, a friend, warm water, a shirt with long sleeves, shampoo, towels and most important; a bath tub or sink
First of all, you need to fill the tub with warm water. You should be wearing cloths that have long sleeves, for you to be safe from scratches. Tell your friend to help you holding the cat’s legs and mouth. It would be very helpful, but not to tight because, it can be painful for the cat.
Having all ready, fill the tub with warm water and soak the cat in. Use a little bit of shampoo and water and wash the cat’s body, legs, and tail. Be sure not to get shampoo in its eyes, nose, mouth, or ears.
Rinse the cat with water. Do it again two more times with water from a bucket or from the tap. It is essential that you remove all the soap. Finally take a towel and rub gently until the cat is dry. You may need additional towels.
When you finish, I recommend you play with your cat, because it will probably be scared. Bath your cat only when necessary and do it gently; so that next time if it’s necessary to do it again, maybe your cat will like it.
